Born in Kiratpur on 12 December 1932, Shri R. B. Rastogi left for Delhi at the age of ten with his father, Shri Badri Prasad Rastogi, carrying little more than a Class IV education and an unshakeable belief in learning. By 1952 he had earned his M.A. in English.12 दिसम्बर 1932 को कीरतपुर में जन्मे श्री आर. बी. रस्तोगी दस वर्ष की आयु में अपने पिता श्री बद्री प्रसाद रस्तोगी के साथ दिल्ली गए। साथ में थी केवल कक्षा चार तक की पढ़ाई और शिक्षा में अटूट विश्वास। 1952 तक उन्होंने अंग्रेज़ी में एम.ए. कर लिया।
He spent his whole working life in education: first as a lecturer in English at Gandhi Inter College, Dhanaura, and then for twenty-five years, from 1960 to 1985, as a principal, bringing dignity and discipline to the colleges he led.उनका पूरा कार्य-जीवन शिक्षा को समर्पित रहा: पहले गांधी इण्टर कॉलेज, धनौरा में अंग्रेज़ी के प्रवक्ता, और फिर पच्चीस वर्ष (1960 से 1985) तक प्रधानाचार्य के रूप में, जहाँ उन्होंने अपने कॉलेजों को गरिमा और अनुशासन दिया।
Retirement only changed the shape of his service. With his brothers, he returned to the town of his birth and, on 28 March 1990, founded a school in three rooms with nine children, named for his grandfather, Lala Narain Dass. He led the Trust for the rest of his life and passed away in Dubai on 9 February 2003. Founded on 28 March 1990 (Chaitra Sudi 2, Samvat 2047). The first session began on 18 July 1990 with 9 children in LKG, a monthly fee of ₹25 and three rooms. Shri Yogeshwar Bhatnagar was the first principal, with Smt. Usha Bhatnagar as assistant teacher.28 मार्च 1990 (चैत्र सुदी 2, संवत 2047) को स्थापना हुई। पहला सत्र 18 जुलाई 1990 को LKG के 9 बच्चों, ₹25 मासिक शुल्क और तीन कमरों के साथ शुरू हुआ। श्री योगेश्वर भटनागर पहले प्रधानाचार्य थे और श्रीमती उषा भटनागर सहायक अध्यापिका।

Permanent recognition for the primary section (Classes 1–5) from the Basic Shiksha Parishad on 31 May 1997.31 मई 1997 को बेसिक शिक्षा परिषद से प्राथमिक विभाग (कक्षा 1–5) को स्थायी मान्यता मिली।

At parents' strong request, Junior High (Classes 6–8) recognition was obtained from the Basic Shiksha Parishad on 25 February 2002 to take girls' education further.अभिभावकों के विशेष आग्रह पर बालिका शिक्षा को आगे बढ़ाने के लिए बेसिक शिक्षा परिषद से 25 फ़रवरी 2002 को जूनियर हाईस्कूल (कक्षा 6–8) की मान्यता ली गई।

Intermediate (Classes XI – XII) recognitionइण्टरमीडिएट (कक्षा XI – XII) की मान्यता
After sustained effort by the staff, the college received permanent Intermediate (Classes 11–12) recognition on 12 December 2006. The then MLA, Shri Kunwar Bharatendu Singh, gave ₹1 lakh from his MLA fund for the science laboratory.स्टाफ के लगातार प्रयास से 12 दिसम्बर 2006 को कॉलेज को इण्टरमीडिएट (कक्षा 11–12) की स्थायी मान्यता मिली। तत्कालीन विधायक श्री कुँवर भारतेन्दु सिंह ने विज्ञान प्रयोगशाला के लिए अपनी विधायक निधि से ₹1 लाख दिए।

A smart TV was donated by Shri Umesh Gupta (Pune) on 1 April 2026 and the smart class was launched in July. Shri Devendra Singh became principal on 1 August 2026. The Trust received provisional income-tax registration and 80G approval (June 2026), CSR-1 registration and an NGO Darpan ID.1 अप्रैल 2026 को श्री उमेश गुप्ता (पुणे) ने स्मार्ट टीवी दान किया और जुलाई में स्मार्ट क्लास शुरू हुई। 1 अगस्त 2026 को श्री देवेन्द्र सिंह प्रधानाचार्य बने। ट्रस्ट को आयकर का अस्थायी पंजीकरण और 80G स्वीकृति (जून 2026), CSR-1 पंजीकरण और NGO दर्पण आईडी मिली।

Census 2011 shows the gap the school was founded to close. In Bijnor district, women's literacy trailed men's by almost 17 points, and there were 883 girls for every 1,000 boys under seven. In 2002, at the strong request of parents, the school took Junior High recognition for girls only. The school buildings were made possible chiefly by the founding president and his family.
