## 3. Founder
Late Shri R. B. Rastogi was born in Kiratpur (Bijnor) on 12 December 1932, son of Shri Badri Prasad Rastogi and Smt. Bala Sundari; his wife was Late Smt. Shakuntala Devi Rastogi. He studied up to Class IV in Kiratpur, moved to Delhi with his father at ten, and completed an M.A. in English in 1952. He was an English lecturer at Gandhi Inter College, Dhanaura (J.P. Nagar) from 1953 to 1960 and a principal from 1960 to 1985. After retirement he devoted himself to religious and public-welfare work. He passed away in Dubai on 9 February 2003.

## 4. The school: history
- 28 March 1990 (Chaitra Sudi 2, Samvat 2047, Wednesday): school founded by Late Shri R. B. Rastogi together with his brothers (sons of Shri Badri Prasad Rastogi, Delhi). Primary education only at first.
- 18 July 1990: first session began with 9 children in LKG; monthly fee ₹25; three rooms. First principal Shri Yogeshwar Bhatnagar; Smt. Usha Bhatnagar assistant teacher.
- January 1992: School Management Committee formed.
- 1993: four more rooms built by the founder; adjoining land purchased.
- 1996–97: permanent recognition of the primary section (Basic Shiksha Parishad).
- 2002: Junior High recognition for girls only, at parents' strong request (Basic Shiksha Parishad).
- 2004: High School recognition from Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad, U.P.
- 2005: Shri Ravinder Kumar Rastogi (Delhi) built the physics and chemistry laboratories and two classrooms.
- 2006: Intermediate (Classes XI–XII) recognition after sustained effort by the staff. The then MLA Shri Kunwar Bharatendu Singh gave ₹1 lakh from his MLA fund for the science laboratory.
- 2010 and 2011: ‘A’ grade from Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad, U.P. for excellent Intermediate results.
- 2008–2023: solar lights received twice from Teachers' MLC Dr. Hari Singh Dhillon.
- 1 April 2026: smart TV donated for the smart class by Shri Umesh Gupta, Pune (Maharashtra). Smart class launched July 2026.
- 1 August 2026: Shri Devendra Singh became principal. Shri Devendra Singh and Vice Principal Shri Vinish Kumar played a leading role in obtaining recognition from Junior to senior level.
- The school buildings were made possible chiefly by the founding president of the management committee and his family.
- Other benefactor: Dr. Kuldeep Rastogi, Mohalla Jhanda, Kiratpur (drinking-water cooler).

## 6. Donating
- Donations and CSR funds are accepted only in the Trust's own account: NARAIN DAS RASTOGI CHARITABLE TRUST, Ujjivan Small Finance Bank, Noida Branch. Full account details are shown on the website after the donor completes the KYC step (name, PAN, address with PIN, mobile, email, amount, purpose).
- After paying, the donor sends the UTR/transaction reference by email from the website so the Trust can file Form 10BD and issue the 80G receipt (Form 10BE), or the equivalent forms under the Income-tax Act, 2025.
- Cash donations above ₹2,000 are not eligible for 80G deduction.
- Purposes: General, Fee concession for girls, Smart classroom, Infrastructure, CSR.
